Buy the game from their website and pay whatever price you want. Sale ends Oct 25th.

They have also posted some stats from the first 6 days of the sale. The average price payed was $2.03, if you pay less than 30 cents 2D Boy get nothing and the biggest factor in deciding what people pay is how much they can afford.

lol never heard of a sale like that before!

Wow, that's pretty awesome. I can't remember what I got it for...5 or 10 bucks or something.

I paid £0.01. Am I a bastard?

From their website.
The average price paid for the game was $2.03 a significant percent of which went to PayPal for transaction fees. Normally, they keep about 5% of the revenue, but because PayPal fees are structured in a way that they take a larger percentage for smaller transactions, we ended up paying over 13% in transaction fees. For all purchases of around 30 cents and under, we actually saw no money, PayPal took it all, but they probably ended up losing money on most of those transactions ($0.01) as well, they’re not the bad guy.

Technically, you're worse than a pirate.

I'll buy THAT for a dollar!

surprised noone's said that yet

I bought it at some $9.99 Steam sale I think. The game is awesome and I will be getting the iPhone version soon...don't you worry. ;)

I feel bad now..

But then again, what the hell did they expect?

I should probably get this, but I'm a little bit lazy to enter information. I'll have to work up the energy. Sale ends on the 25th.

Just stopping by to say that every one should play this game and you have no excuse not to at this point. Though try not to be a dick and give them nothing while you're at it.

Tbh, I'm surprised the average isn't lower.

Any word on what the highest price paid was?

Awesome idea, my comp crashed just after I paid so now they have $5 and 1 cent of my money!

Forgot to post that I stumped up $8/£5 for this during the sale. Thanks for the headsup.

Man, if I was rich I would have bought a copy for $100,000. I enjoyed the shit out of that game. 2d boy deserves every cent you guys can throw at him.

Don't you guys think it's interesting that an Indie developer is willing to take a risk like this, yet million and billion dollar corporations can't afford to? Uhhhhhh... And they do everything in their power to get every last cent out of people. It's disgusting. I wish I could turn them on their asses.

I only hope we see more 'crazy' sales like this, and I hope the response is overwhelming for them.
