Ok , i got world of warcraft today and it says it has 1 month free trial but after dat i need to buy a game card dat is 2 month ..... And i'm moving to south korea in about 1 week and will it work if i buy a wow game card from south korea? on my usa world of warcraft / account?

And also do i need a credit card to make / activate world of warcraft account or just a game card?

And does the free trial start right away when i register / make a new account or when i start playing.....?

I can't register now coz my computer doesn't work coz my power supply doesn't work any more and waiting for the new 1 to come to my house from newegg

I dont know about the S korea gamecard working, but I would think it will work.

You do not need a credit card if your using a game card. I dont think.

Free trial starts when you register, so when you have an account, your trial is ticking away.

Ok thanks

You have a US version of the game and you'll be on US servers in south korea. You should be ok for latency though... it's not that far and you'll probably have a leet connection :)

as far as i know, you have to sign up to pay for another month aswell as your free trial, you have to give your details or type in a voucher number. Unless they changed it, they may well have.
For example, if i registered a new game today, i'd have to type in my credit card details and a subscription but they wont take my money for a month, my free month. So if i dont want to play anymore, i just stop the oncoming transaction on their site, delete my membership, whatever. :P

Totally Off Topic (but in reference to World of Warcraft): Leeeeeeeeroyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Neahhejj... Jenkins!

ok but do i need a credit card if i use a game card dat lasts 2 monthes?

And laso my question is will south korea game card which is 2 month work on my usa account / usa pc game?

It should work. and yes, if you pay that way.. if you use a gamecard that's also cool but ofcourse that cannot be refunded of anything, whereas you can cancel the upcoming credit card transation within the free month.

You need a South Korean version of the game to play in South Korea. I wish I lived in China or Korea and knew the language. It would be so kewl playing wow with so many other hardcore players. European and American's cslack to much :*(

Depending how long you're gonna be there, I'd buy a bunch of game cards, or have a credit card handy, because my guess a game card over there would only apply to their servers (wait....do they even have WoW in korea? I know China and Europe..).

So...yea...just be on the safe side, and buy a bunch of game cards, or have a credit card handy.
