Even though that is old, it is one of the mos awesome things ever. Accidental MMO plague for the win!

You used to be able to do something similar with Baron Geddon in Molten Core. He had an ability that would transform players into timed bombs who would have to run away from the group. Back in the day, he could also target pets.

Nothing more fun than tucking your pet away and then bringing him back out to a crowded bank with the effect still on him.
