I dunno...I've got the money...but I don't really know if I should get this game or not. It seems like it would be really really fun, and I know a lot of friends who play, but I can't really determine if I should contribute my time into it. BF2 is getting slightly boring on pubs without clan members, although scrims and matches are great fun. I'm just curious as to your opinions on the game, the pros and cons, the ups and downs, the yin and yang, T or A, ect ect.

Buy a rat and train him to catch bees in a small cage.

You're-ee Welcome-Gellar

Don't think, just get it. Thinking only gets in the way when obtaining phat lewtz.

WoW is fun in the way that most people found EverQuest fun...it just is, it's not the graphics, the gameplay maybe? or the phat lewtz? who knows, it just kicks ass.

So maybe...if I loved Diablo II, will I love WoW equally as well?

If you loved D2 because you got to become a 1337 0 \/\/ 1\1 3 |2 3 |2

Then yes.

WoW is as good as the people you play with.

All you need is a decent friends list, then you'll have an excellent time.

Yeah it's a lot of fun with groups, strategy, customization of your abilities, and player vs player!

Start a few characters and play them through lvl10 or so and see which playstyle you like better. Then lvl that character. ;)

Get it. It can take a bit to get into, but it's really really fun.

I've actually got a two-week free trial of World of Warcraft sitting here right in front of me. Thing is, I don't want to risk it.

If I end up really enjoying it (and if the beta I played is any indication, I WILL), I don't want to be put in the position of choosing to pay the monthly fee or quitting. The former is something I'm not in a position to really deal with right now and the latter would be painful. :(

God, **** it, I need a part time job...

i wanted to try it but i ran into the same problem as you did...no job=no money

I'd suggest you just limit yourself to say, a 2 month, or 12 year game card. Then just use that for a bit.
WoW is fun I guess. It gets somewhat boring after a bit, but most games do.

WoW is too time consuming after too many levels. The dungeons take forever and you need a clan (or guild) to accomplish them. I dont have time for clans or guilds so I just dropped it.

I'd recommend it to anyone without a life, basically.

My group just wiped on Onyxia :|

heehee :imu:

Anyone else think the music is really well done in WoW?

Get it NAOW!!1

Me and fox are lvling fast, this game owns. The only thing that will be funner is when we all go and PWN in PvP. Me and fox have some sweet builds for our chars, and we could find an awsome talent build for ya too. With you, me, fox and dala we will be an unstoppable force.

And with The Unstoppable Force you will be even more unstoppable ;).
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DO NOT GET IT

Get it its one of the best games ive played. Just reached lvl 60 a week ago, trying to get all my beaststalker items now :).tho when u do reach lvl 60 theres not much to do but there is a new patch and exspansion coming out soon. :thumbs:View attachment 18443

You'll either love it or find it boring. All the cool people love it. All the people who find it boring are people like Ennui

j/k :p

RP is the best.

60 rogue, 4 30 character, 1 40 character, ran mc, went to every end game content, yea its fun, but then when it gets to my situtation, you end up playing like 3 hours once or twice a week

I wish I'd have tried RP server. Perhaps I'll have to try it if I get a gamecard.

**** it. I'm installing the 14 day trial now. Hopefully I'll have a job before I dig too deep into my cash reserves.

Lol have fun! join gorgonash, thats my server, main, fabel, 40 warlock alt, kerrigen (yes i know its kerrigan, but the name was taken)

not on much, but w/e

Dammit, it requires a credit card. I was hoping my debit card would be fine, but apparently not.

Well, that's that. While I'm annoyed, at least I'm no longer itching so bad about playing.

So it's just me?

DAMN YOU GOD FOR SETTING FATE AGAINST ME. YOU BASTARD.

*seethes*

Well, I still shot a letter off to billing support. Hopefully they can manage the situation.

Well, when you get it all sorted out hop on the hellscream server. My chars name is Glurk. You still have time to catch up to me as im going on a vacation here soon. So when I get back were gonna group up and own. I am a 15 rogue right now and fox is a 15 priest, dala also just got the game and hes gonna be a warrior. So go whatever ya want, we have all the necessities.

Even if your debit won't work go buy a game card and use that.

Not wasting money on WOW > Wasting money on WOW

Ah, but what constitutes the wasting of money when the concept of recreation is one of subjectivity and... stuff...?

The fact that WoW sucks constitutes it :D

But then that's just my opinion.
