I'm running a ati radeon 9600 also. My computer is a 2.2gh. I'm thinkin about buying some ram. But I'm worried about over clocking it. Any advice would help please.

So, what exactly are you overclocking? The new memory?

I say if you don't feel comfortable overclocking, don't do it. Rather safe than sorry. That said, overclocking can be safe if you take proper precautions and spend some time researching about overclocking.

I think you computer should be able to run Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 quite well. How much RAM do you have?
