Worth getting Sam & Max episodes?

I'm debating whether to get Telltale games pack off of STEAM, you get all of the Sam & Max episodes plus 2 Bone episodes for $69.99. I've never played any of the Sam & Max's but I am a stickler for adventure games so are they worth getting?

Yes! They start off a little shakily, but by the 4th episode of season 1 they hit their stride nicely.

I would, the comedy is great. And it's good value. I sure there one episode that's free to try. Download it and see if you like it.

You should definitely try before you buy, there are 2 full free episodes from season 1 and 2.

This is because the opinions are very divided amongst people, I personally love them.
Season 1 more then season 2. The things that happened in season 2 are more
appealing to me then in season 1. In fact these guys think they way I do. But the
puzzles are of a lower quality imo, to much rides on getting an obscure item instead of logic.

I played some of Episode 4 (free on Steam). It didn't really grab me but then I'm not a fan of the genre so what do I know?

I usually just sit down and play through them a little bit randomly (you can finish them in one sitting per episode).

Meh, I personally found them abit crappy. The humour being just abit too stupid and the voice acting is the most irrating I've ever heard D:

Also I'm pretty crap at figuring out the puzzles in that free season 2 episode, which just makes it frustrating. Oh well.

Theres a free episode on a PCgamer magazine disc, but that's all I know.

They did give away the first episode of season 2 to anyone that filled in a questionare they sent out in one of their e-mails, but I don't think that there is one available to publicly download for nowt.
