hello, im thinking about getting a 6600 gt for my birthday.
im wondering if you guys think it will bottleneck my pc?
i have 2.4 ghz processor
1 gig of ram
160 gig hard drive
and my current gpu 9600 xt.

should i keep my 9600 xt?

nope- that'l do fine, as long as your power supply is sufficient- 300W is the minimum requirement i think?

I've got the same speed processor as him and i'm thinking of upgrading to 1.5gb RAM. Would that cause any problems?

Should be good. It might not perform to the same lvl as someone on a 3GHz machine but it will do well.
