Would u say its a good idea?

hello, I am at school now and doing an AVC ICT course blar blar blar. Basiclly we have a section on programming. Would u say its a good idea to say none of the people in the class have any C++ programming skills in any kinda way to try and make a really basic hl2 mod. I dunno if its a good idea but my teacher told me to look into it and get some info on it. Valve said the editing will be easy so all the teachers would need is basiclling a editing hand book. That valve will be releaseing. What do u think anyway. Would it be a good idea. I dunno how hard C++ actually is.

C++ isnt hard, it just require logical thinking. And lots of it.

That sentence doesnt make sense... I would honestly not say its a good idea, as you are very likely to get beaten up by them

Hmmmm, Since I'm going to be starting a PDC in C++ after christmas, and I consider that to be not much C++ knowledge (It's a degree level qualification ).... I reckon you need a bit more experience before starting a mod.... and you need experience working with others on this type of a project (me and Stone had been working on different projects for about a year or so before starting OES) ah well, go for it... and have GOOD ideas
