Would any of you like to have children at some stage of your life? Have you already got them?

Personally I would like to, I think it would give my life a whole lot more meaning, but opinions vary greatly on this matter.

Edit: Strangely enough, I did not see the thread on over-population before making this poll!

Not willingly anyway - there's far too much to do and not enough time to do it in as it is...

No, I don't want one now, or ever. I'm even willing to go as far as having a vasectomy done to make sure none of that accidental bullshit happens.

i'm not sure i want to pass on my genes...my penis has caused me severe back pain. i dont know if i want my son to suffer the same way.

What would this cause if you had a daughter? D:

Yes. I would. But not for a long time yet.

Speaking of babies, we just had a 6 week year old round the house for a couple of hours. ****ing cutest thing on Earth. It wouldn't stop staring and smiling at me.

I do want to have children, but I still don't want to do so intentionally, at this point. I'm still not sure how is babby formed.

fix'd

I definitely want children sometime in the distant (not so distant ?) future . But after 4 years in an engineering program i think I'm gonna want to experience the world for a bit before committing to something like that .

I have 2 kids but would like another but cant afford it financially and especially mentally. when I was your age (average age of hl2.netters) I didnt want kids. I later changed my mind

also some of you who said yes they'd like to have kids scares the shit out of me, while others who said they dont want kids makes me sad because they'd probably be good parents

I love kids, so I would definitely like one of my own one day. The concept of raising a human is just awesome.

It's sort of like owning a puppy, except that puppies don't take all your money and ignore you when you get older.

puppies die after 15 years or so. also I have a dog; it's nothing like raising a dog

your parents made you baby sit your baby brother every weekend? change diapers, feedings etc? what were your parents doing on the weekends?

Epic swinger parties.

so his brother might really be his half brother? :O

If that were the case he'd pretty much have to be Pat's nemesis.

much like a popsickle you can break a kid in half and stuff him in the freezer for later

I'd like to have a litter of kids at some point. I'd want a boy first though. I'd probably spoil a girl if my she was my youngest.

I just noticed this. What a really weird thing to say.
Great parents don't choose children, but have children thrust upon them?

I think a more interesting question would be, why do you want a child?

You don't know how wrong you are.

yes and no. My kids were planned but that's not the always the case with all parents. and yes unexpected circumstances can make people do extraordinary things. but that wasnt my point. some people are natural parents others have to work at it while still others should be within 50 ft of a baby
