WoW: BC opneing cinematic

You gotta love blizzard's cinematics team. I think they should make a full movie.


I liked the original Starcraft ones better, though. Less with the shiny unrealistic exaggerated weaponary.

Shakycam doesn't do them justice...

I liked the Warlock + Mage bits the best however.

@Above the mage one is... ****ing hate mages on my warrior.

Illidan never died, he was injured pretty bad, but he lived on, went crazy, and now he lives in the black citadel.

And yes! 1 second of troll face time!
 
Was that a troll on the raptor mount (raptors rawk btw)? I couldn't make it out, but if so, awesome. It's about time we got some recognition. Been long overdue. The most pimp race in the game. Now all we need is the return of Zul'jin.

Whenever I look at Blizzard's cinematics, I wonder to myself why they don't just make a movie themselves instead of the live-action bullcrap that's apparently in the works. It will never do the look and feel of the games justice.
 
That was so cool. mainly because of the troll. The Dranei almost ruined it.

The Dranei pally looked pretty cool. The Orc had Askhandi, and that warlock needs a nerf.

And i noticed the troll looked like a priest, and was riding from Kharazan.

Agreed. I thought that when I saw the DoW: Dark Crusade intro. I doubt they spend massive amounts of cash on it, so they could probably make a movie.
 
Excellent cinematic. I have to say, WoWs cinematics always send a tingle up my spine. I think it's the music, but I'm not too sure.
 
Psh. I thought the Dreanie Kicked ass in that trailer >_> and he was carrying around a libram :O. Still no gnome recognition :|

Watch the movie at the end of the Human campaign in Warcraft 3 (the one of Arthas killing his father), never fails to amaze me. To watch W3 cinematics is the only reason I have it installed*.

OT: Amazing movie, but: where's the gnomes? The only race that hasn't been shown so far in a WoW cinematic.

*Not that isn't a good game, I just suck so, so badly at it, can't even beat a normal CPU player.
 
The warlock in this one should've been a gnome... It would have been perfect with a gnome :).
 
I don't want to view this new trailer, I quit wow a while ago, only played it for a couple months.
But I think the trailer would bring me back
 
Now if only WoW was half as good as it's cinematics...sigh.

Gnome warlocks = not silly :(

The game is pretty rapidly improving imo, though alot of the combat is still a bit too fast for my taste.

They finally are giving "casuals" epix by making it ridiculously easy to get PVP epics. Only takes a week for a very slow playing person to get a piece or two.
 
The problem with these cinematics is... the game tries to present a cartoonish world, whilst the cinematics portray a hardcore, realistic world.
 
I think I'll make a Dreanei pally just for the hell of it. Never been Alliance before. Did you notice that the orc was the same one from the origanls intro (I think) and the same with the Warlock.

As much as I love cinematics (hey its even my career!) I couldnt get over how lame that situation was.

****ing fireworks, stage lights and a live chorus for a game cinematic? How freaking pathetic. I feel lame for watching it.
 
Very well made CG like always but. WOW is just not my kind of game. Boring beyond measure.

When it comes to MMO's i still havnt found a game worth while.

If you find WoW boring, MMO's are not the type of game for you, because as far as MMO's are concerned, WoW is by far the fastest paced of any MMO I know of.
 
God damn it, everytime i see something about WoW it keeps reminding me how i had to quit due to uni blocking my ports...argh!!! im glad i had to quit, but im beginning to miss it, especially now that BC is almost here...*cries*

Hardcore and realistic? Were we watching the same cinematic? It was colorful, vibrant, and explosive, just like the game. Then again I wouldn't call the game cartoony, either. The textures were made in a way that best takes advantage of the aging engine, sure, but it isn't cel-shaded nor exaggerated as far as animations (Not anymore more than your typical game, anyway).
 
Looks like the folks at Blizzard had smacked this youtuber good bye!
