you guys could chill and sign up later...the sign up lasts for a week, and even though it says "this isn't first come first serve", people are spamming their F5 keys and making it stupid and slow for everyone.

it's just like the steam release all over again....except you won't get a low ID# or anything for signing up for the WoW beta

i really hope there's a public beta somehow....i'd hate to spend $50 on a game that i can't even play after a month if i don't pay more.

like with WWII online...i thought that game was gonna be sweet (boy was i wrong). then i figured they'd make the game better at a later time...and even if they had (which they haven't) i'd have to pay to play again...which would suck.

i hope you get a certain number of hours free to be used in the first 3 months or something. that way if you suddenly don't have time to play after you activate your account, you still get a chance to try things out without paying extra.

They had to shut down the Battle.net site for a while to help compensate for all the overly enthusiastic fans trying to sign up for the beta right away. They also emphasize that people will "NOT" be chosen on a first come first serve basis.

Edit:BattleNet website's been disabled, not servers.

just get another free account with someone besides yahoo or hotmail. www.fastmail.fm is what i use (i can't remember if it's free or one-time fee though). there must be dozens.
