Wouldn't work... it consists of thousands of players each on their own quests.

But, if they use the story from the first 3 games... I could see it working.
And if it's in CGI, live-action for a fantasy game = bad.

I think a live action fantasy is great. Especially if its made as well as Load of the Rings.

The WarCraft lore maybe decent from a videogame standpoint, but from the movies it's a load of utter crap, and that's putting it kindly. There's honestly less than a handful that has the proper source material to transition from videogames -> movies. Off the top of my head the few worthy ones would be Max Payne series, Silent Hill (already done), and KOTOR 1. I most likely left out a couple out there (or I haven't played them yet) but honestly, the vast majority of videogame source material is utter crap if put into the movie limelight.

Bah, I found Warcraft's story to be a pile of dung. Maybe it was the hideous transition from CGI to little blocky people with their faces talking in a window.
