WoW - new bind to account items...

Love or hate WoW i just came across these and the new type of item that will be added to World of Warcraft in the new expansion. It seems they're adding items that bind to your account and not character that you can then mail to any character in your account even level 1 chars and the item will scale with level. This also includes shoulders with a 10% boost to XP stat.

What do you think of the concept? :imu:

I like it, I hate replacing an awesome weapon knowing it'll never be used again, at least this way i can use it on an alt or something

I don't like it. Now people from lvl 1 to 80 will be wearing and using the same stuff. That will mean a lot less unique toons.

From what I have gathered these will be badge rewards. So making them like the current caster dagger you won't be seeing these that often. Not everyone will waste all their badges to get these.

You hate WoW and really, really love Mass Effect we get it. It's ok, you don't have to post in every WoW topic to get your point across.

It's weird seeing things like this happening in threads, like long-established viewpoints and stuff, because most of the time I've never even seen half the people involved.

I'm a big fan of the bind to account thing, but it seems like these items are going to cost a hell of a lot more than they should.

Too cheap! Make them cost like 150, or 200 badges. I hate how BC is all about free epic, well not in sunwell. In WotLK even the normal pvp reward weapons should cost like 100k honor or more.

They should really just introduce a new tier of items so that the color of loot can start to mean something again.

They aren't that great, I don't see why you think they need to cost more. The gear is more for leveling alts than anything else, once you hit max level your going to want to replace them.
