That's right! I am getting World of Warcraft :D

I've been waiting since like... Umm like 2003 for this game. And finally, I will be able to play it for more than 2 minutes. Thank god for Game cards.

Since I am here, I may as well ask a question.

Back in my WoW hungering days (Ended 5 minutes ago) I would read the WoW forums, and there was threads saying the shaman is over-powered. I knew it was whining kids until I played once on the European beta, I was a lvl 1 shaman, owning lvl 2 Tauren :| Is the Shaman a little over-powered?

Seriouisly, so damned addictive. The only reason I'm not playing is because I'm eating up as much bandwith as I can in Azureus, so if I try to play it it'll be laggy as all hell. :LOL:
 
I plan to only play for a month - can you just play the free month that comes with the game and terminate the account?

Yep, but you still need to give credit card details etc. when signing up.

1) Wolfaran, Night Elf hunter

2) Olohach, Tauren Shaman

It's not the Shamans you should be worrying about, it's the Paladins. Those are the most over-powered in the game. Anyway, a level one owning a level two is nothing major. Maybe you should join the Horde to help fix the current faction imbalance, it's always about 3:1 - 5:1 (Alliance:Horde).

I would love to get the game, because everyone says it is great fun. But, I can't pay $10-15 a month. Hell, I can barely afford the game itself.

OT: I hope english is your second language...because your grammar is pretty bad no offense or anything.

Anyways I lost interest in the warcraft series after warcraft 3....Kinda got boring I guess.

I'm not doubting you about how well you can speak english, but you need to type your sentences and words correctly buddy....so everyone can understand you without having to go through the hassle of trying to figure out your post.

I understand if english is your second language.

Paladin is strong in PvP yes, love casting a shield and healing myself :D

I can a) cast an 8 second shield that protects me from everything I can't attack, but I can heal b) cast another form of physical immunity that lasts 6 seconds and c) have Lay on Hands which will consume all my mana but heal me for the mana points I used, and it casts instant d) my healing spells only get interrupted 52% of the time by damage

But Rogue is worse, well from my limited experience with them. Fought one, I was lvl 17 back then and he was lvl 13, and I would have smacked him senseless, if I could hit him, but he would pretty much dodge everything. Only hit about 1 in 5 or less. Even had to heal myself to beat him.

EDIT: I love my new blue mace! :D
18.3 dps and +17 in attributes (for a lvl 19) haven't seen anyone with a better weapon at my level yet.
 
Shamans are by far my favorite class, they are so versatile. In PvP I can adapt to take on any class, and in PvE I can adapt to fill any roll in the group. If anyone knows the castle near ratchet my brother and I(Level 17 Hunter and 17 Shaman) took out the whole castle on our own.

im not much into mmorgp games, and you have to pay monthly for it.

how do you pay monthly?
 
not yet in 3 weeks there gonna be 26 euros I checked at the Blizzard Shop
 
Game cards, about £18 for 2 months, same as buying 2 1 month instalments via credit card.

WoW rocks, its way popular Blizzard have had to get more servers and this is just the main fanbase playing, im pretty sure player numbers will go over half a million in eaurope later this year and the same in America....It's such a good game and incredibly adictive... i feel like loading it up right now :eek:
 
I was indirectly part of a raid on Tarren Mill tonight on my realm (Magtheridon, I'm 43 Warrior), it was revenge for last night's raid on Refuge Point.

We had control of Tarren Milll for quite some time, then I was slain by a deathguard :(

So then I went to watch 24.
 
I have a shit load of characters, but i pretty much only use....

Lvl 25 warrior (though i might stop with him)- normal server (Bloodhoof)
Lvl 18 Rogue -normal server
Lvl 19 Paladin - Alliance PvP Server Character (Mannoroth)
Lvl 13 Shaman - Horde PvP Server Character (forgot :p)

The only reason i goto the normal server is because people i know from another forum have a guild there (Though the forum is pissed due to there admin hasnt come back due to WoW :) ). PvP servers are alot more fun knowing a lvl 60 horde can gank you at any minute.

I'm a level 17 Mage on the server stromscale?
 
I'm Gorf, 52 shaman on Silverhand, and I love every minute of it.
 
I'm Opus, 32 Hunter on Crushridge, with a pet raptor named CutiePie. I'd play more of it but i'm doing Year 12
 
I am in the process of talking to a friend who has the game and loves it. He said he would give me a ten days free thing. Finally I get to try it out! :D
 
Nah, shaman aren't really overpowered... it can seem like they are if all you want to do is run away and you get frost shocked over and over, though...

And Sparta, my druid (Onepercent) is level 34 on Crushridge now... hahaha... I need to kill you... my dead body is in front of the Ironforge bank right now, though. ;(

There's no need to buy anything else when you have it... so really, it's kinda like saving money!

So, to answer yer question... very easily.

There's sheduled weekly maintainence at this time every week...

I've experienced one server shutdown since I started playing ..which was back in december. If you just pick an under populated server you'll have no problems
 
Just got the game yesterday....gamestop only had 5 copies left!

Glad my cuz talked me into it when he did.

WoW is the best MMORPG I've ever played.....was in the beta..and I think I've been suppressing my urge to play WoW...and now that I have the game all this excitement is coming out. I feel very happy right now. =)
