Wow, this sucks

In short, this weekend, my gf, Sarah split up with me, I was a litte cut up at first... but this thread isn't entirely about that, it's more about my mates ... I was staying at my friend Tim's for the weekend, I told him what happened, and within minutes we were laughing again, him and his bro Dave and me are good mates, with similar interests... and all it took me to cheer up was some multi-player pin-ball, a Hazard course race (don't ask), Vice City genocide, and Dirty Harry... now all of these things are fun on their own, but with a group of mates, they are muchos more fun .... considering the banter and funny comment... really cheered me up... thanks guys

yeah, they don't, just... if you pick the right one mate

but yeah, its good you can deal with it so easily, a mate of mine just broke up with his girlfreind of 4 years and he cant handle it, he tries to bury himself with work to forget about her, he works from like... 2 in the morning till 11:30, takes a 3 hour break, then another job from 2:30 to 10:30

really quite sad

EDIT: MrWhite, his was kinda a serious relationship.... my longest relationship to date is five weeks ..... thats cos I get bored, and then split up (or do summat so they break up with me ) ... i have loads like that :S

Unlike me. I'm happy on the outside, but on the inside I feel terrible. And we didn't really even break up. And she isn't even my girlfriend (yet??).

doesnt matter how you pick em, they're all just as conniving as the next, dont be fooled by their facades, they're all in search of the next ****, no matter how innocent they seem, or how much they claim to care for you, don't get pulled in, they WILL kick you to the curb in a heartbeat if they find someone better (and there will always be better )

LOL .. I ain't no pimp dude. The situations where I truly fell in love with a girl are few and far between. In fact in about 20 years it might have happened only 2 - 2.5 times. So obviously I try to make the most of it.
