wp-cache plugin problem.

Create a symbolic link from wp-content/advanced-cache.php to wp-content/plugins/wp-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php.

ln -s wp-content/plugins/wp-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php wp-content/advanced-cache.php

where/how do i do this ? my hosting is provided by hostgator and i looked through the cp and couldn't find an appropriate place to do it.

wasn't too sure where to post this, so if a mod wants to move it to a more appropriate area, i'm not against it.
