Here is a complete class list of what will be avaliable in the Tream Fortress-esque mod Wretched Abandon.

SIDE: MOON

1. Assault: The assault class is the primary forward pushing infantry of the Moon forces. The primary force of attacking is use of the advanced Moon assault rifle, equipped with a grenade launcher for sticky situations. The assault class has great resistance to normal bullet penetration, but special attacks and armor piercing will hurt.

2. Scout: The scout class is designed to pick of enemies from a distance with a high-tech sniper rifle with a great rate of fire. The damage dealt by this rifle is not as high as some energy based rifles, but the damage is still severe. The Scout features night vision goggles allowing him to see in dark corners. The lack of armor gives the Scout great speed, but a weakness to attacks.

3. Cremator: The Cremator can take large amounts of damage, and with good reason as his speed is definitely not high. This is due to the large fuel tank he carries, supporting his deadly Flame Thrower. The Cremator is designed to blanket the enemy in flames. A well placed armor piercing bullet into the Cremator’s fuel tank will cause it to rupture and explode, killing the player and igniting those around him.

4. Energy Trooper: The energy trooper uses large prototype energy cannon. The energy cannon is capable of both firing a steady rate of fire or deploy the cannon to blanket the land in radiation. The energy cannon is capable of piercing any amour type, but because of this the core leeks dangerous energy out. This results in the Energy Trooper being forced to wear special protective gear, giving him immunity to radioactive and energy based damage but a weakness to anything else. Because of the radiating energy anyone who gets near him takes considerable damage, making it near impossible to heal him with a Medic. EMP grenades will disable the cannon for a period of time.

5. Medic: The Medic’s job is primarily to make sure everyone on his side remains healthy and strong. The Medic is capable of quickly restoring any class’s health to full with his field medical kit. The Medic does not have amazing attack, with just a submachine gun as the primary force. However, the medic is capable of taking quite a few hits before going down. For bonus defense the Medic is given flame resistant armor.

6. Commander: A Commander is the driving force behind the Moon forces, specifically the Assault class. The Commander is capable of providing regenerating amour to any nearby Assault classes. The Commander also speeds up the capturing of an area when he is present. For attacking the Commander users an expensive energy based pistol capable of firing deadly amour piercing rounds.


SIDE: EARTH

1. Convict: The Convict is the perfect class for a full frontal assault. Convicts may not have the armor to defend against a heavy attack, but with excellent speed and attack they are nasty fellows. For attacking purposes Convicts are issued automatic pistols, dual submachine gun, and fragmental grenades. They may, in theory, seem easy to take out due to the lack of defense, but the sheer speed and ferocity of this class proves defenseless assumptions false.

2. Experimenter: A devious scientist who has dabbled in experiments on human beings. The Experimenter is equipped with a submachine gun and scalpel. To add to his inventory the Experimenter has with him many syringes containing devious chemicals. Some chemicals, when injected into fellow teammates, will give them a brilliant resistance to a specific type of damage. He also may inject teammates with stat increasers such as speed and strength boosts. The Experimenter also carries with him deadly toxin syringes. One injection of these into an enemy will count the enemies health quickly down to 1. Experimenter’s syringes will not work on mechanical based classes (such as the Pack Mech).

3. Rebel: The Rebel is the result of a civilian standing up for himself. The only firearm the Rebels have got their hands on is a large magazine civilian issued pistol, but this is not where the Rebel excels. The Rebel’s true colours shine in his massive arsenal of grenades. Fragmental, EMP, Napalm, you name it and the Rebel has got it

4. Killer: The Killer is fast and agile, and equipped only for melee combat. The Assassin is equipped with a large knife and a deadly energy blade. The energy blade is capable of slicing through all armor defenses and dealing huge damage. EMP grenades will deactivate the energy blade, forcing the Killer to use a normal knife.

5. Terrorist: Equipped with an armor piercing machinegun and plenty of ammo, the terrorist’s main feature is the ability to detonate incendiary explosives attached to his body. Igniting the terrorist will cause wiring of the explosives to break, rendering them useless.

6. Pack Mech: The Pack Mech is a biomechanical nightmare. Standing taller than the average man and made of more machine than muscle, the Pack Mech is capable of taking heavy amounts of fire from most weaponry. The Pack Mech is designed to use his size to carry massive amounts of ammo and health kits around the map, making him a portable resource station. For attacking purposes the Pack Mech is equipped with two large machine guns. However, the Pack Mech is extremely slow due to its weight and size, and because of its mechanical structure an EMP grenade will completely shut him down for a period of time.


SIDE: MARS

1. Guerilla: The Guerilla is the standard infantry of the Mars forces, and designed entirely to stay hidden and attack with fury. The Guerilla is equipped with a silenced high caliber automatic rifle as its primary source of offence. The Guerilla is extremely fast and highly accurate. For its advantage, the Guerilla is given Night Vision equipment.

2. Sniper: The Mars Sniper is the perfect combat unit for long range. His rifle uses energy loaded shells. This results in the ability to fire rounds at the velocity of normal energy rounds, as well as have the same impact. The difference is the Sniper uses standard tipped ammunition. This allows the Sniper’s rounds to bypass every type of armor in the game and deal tremendous amounts of damage. The sniper is wearing suitable camouflage depending on the maps environment.

3. Demolition: The Demolition class has one main goal, to provide any explosive power to his team that may be needed. The Demolition unit primarily uses his Rocket Launcher for offence and defense, as he has a wide selection of ammunition (Frag Rockets, EMP Rockets, etc). The Demolition unit is also equipped with extremely handy Demolition Packs. These can be set with timers, proximity triggers, or by remote.

4. Control: The control class gives the Mars forces a special feature, moveable spawn points. The control is capable of placing a number of indicators on a map that can be used as spawning points for any respawning Mars forces. These indicators are disabled by EMP and destroyed quite easily, and have a limited number of “spawn charges” before they become inactive. The Control class is given standard weaponry, but is wearing a strong suit of armor. This is to allow the Control to run in to an enemy line and place a spawning indicator.

5. Heavy Support: The role of the Heavy Support is to lay down extreme amounts of fire power whilst the others classes get into position. The Heavy Support primarily focuses on the use of his energy powered machine gun, and a heavy one at that. The machine gun can be fired whilst running, but is much more useful when deployed. The magazine is massive, the rate of fire is fast, and the rounds are capable of passing through most armor. EMP grenades will cause the machine gun to stall briefly before it returns to action. The Heavy Support is equipped with good armor.

6. Field Support: The Field Support unit is extremely valuable to the Mars forces. The Field Support may only be given standard weaponry, but is capable of construction supply stations, mountable turrets, and auto turrets. Whilst limited in how many can be created, these “stations” provide an extreme amount of extra force when battling an opponent.
