Writing an essay on how videogames don't create violence

Some of you may remember my teacher from the thread where I posted the handout she gave us (a history of "all your base are belong to us.") She used to write for the magazine WIRED and is a huge tech buff. For my argument essay she's letting me write about how stupid Jack Thompson is (not literally, but yeah, kinda).

Are there any solid arguments/facts you guys would like to state before I get started?
 
I've the greatest lead to an essay ever thought up. Please take a moment and bask in the glory of this stunningly amasing eye catcher.

K, i'll use that on the first draft and take it out if she doesn't appreciate it.
 
I can't remember the link, although it was def on these forums, that showed stats that violent crime has gone down in with the rise of video games. If you can find that, it should make some excellent evidence.
 
the trick is to appear objective and rational while you brainwash your audience. Made up statistics are good for that sort of thing.

And if that doesn't work, attack your opponent by calling him/her a "closet whore" :p
 
how about ramble on dnd on but provide one peice of evidence for a base.
