WTF causes this?

Some of my graphics have gone all "boxy" what is causing this?

If you haven't changed anything recently, it could be a heat issue. See if you have any fans out, dust bunnies blocking vents, etc...

Well, nothing is happening like it in any of my other games...Doom 3, CoD, MOHAA etc. I mean look at the image here, Eli is all boxy and the woman is not! Go figure!! :flame:

Interesting...This happened to me a few months back while playing WoW. Only my character texture was messed up. I'm pretty sure it's not heat related because my computer is pretty cool, and my house is a lot hotter than my apartment was at school where it happened. No idea what caused it, but it only hapened once...Thought i had a screenshot, but apparently i deleted it...it looked just like Ely tho..

that happens to me sometimes in hl2:dm if the game minimises and i make it full screen again,

I know it ain't heat problems and I'm sorry you guys had the same problem but the point of this post is, can anybody advise me how to fix it?

That same bug happens to me in Hammer Editor. The differency is, that _everything_ is covered with those dots. Restarting hammer solves it... Dont know how to solve that.
