WTF is with Friends Network?

Since steam is totally down right now I decided it would be an appropriate time to ask if any of you were having problems with the friends network before steam went totally down. I haven't been able to run f**king friends for months and it is really starting to piss me off. Anyone else having the same problem?

Yeah, I've been able to log in twice since hl2 came out. When I tried to add someone it said authorization request sent but he never received it. He also tried to add me and I didn't receive the authorization request either. So yeah, friends network has been borked from day 1 as far as I can tell.

Steam is just plain ****ed, I wish Valve would just drop the damn thing. :angry:
