Last night I was watching my friend playing red on goldrush A. He spawned as a pyro and ran towards the cart. A red demoman runs around the corner in the opposite direction, but he's a bit odd. There is a blue disc of light pulsing from his crotch. Like a glowing hoola-hoop growing out of his groin and fading away after a second. A second red demoman and a red medic then come along and stop dead when the see the pulsing demoman. The glowing crotch man stops and everyone just stares at him for two seconds. The four people standing still the middle of the warzone. My friend taps the fire button and the demoman catches fire and dies and turns into a blue spy a moment later.

It's times like these I wish Mexican Standoffs existed.

I remember the old medic hack/bug where they'd be permanently ubered and run around hacking people with the uber saw. This one guy managed to get pinned to a corner in a ceiling by a sentry and was basically trapped there until he quit the game.

Strange assists.

Sometime ago, I assisted myself in killing an engineer (as scout with Sandman).

I assisted a spy backstabbing someone from my own team (as medic)

I assisted an engineer killing a sapper (as medic).

Do these assists give points?

Horray for karma!

I do recall being once sniped, and when it showed me the guy who killed me, there was no one there and they apparently had full health. Probably just lagged or something so i couldn't see him, i don't know.

Sapper destruction gives points to no one, not the medic or the engie. So you can spam a whole lot and you won;t give the enemy engie points

I played cp_Egypt today. Christ that map is buggy. I just burst into flames out of no where for no reason and died four times while spy. And then my deathcam would take me to an overhealed and invisible spy that was usually on the other side of the map.

The flames on the indoor lamps and stands can set you on fire I think.

Playing the game and coming to the conclusion that it's horribly unbalanced for casual gamers.

Are those moveable? "We need a spychecker, everyone help me push!" :cheese:

They are static, but when messing around on Gmod yesterday on that map I noticed the fire damaged me, that might be because of Gmod but it might work in TF2 too.

The fire does cause damage, I remember playing the map last summer and kept getting lit up.

I saw a screenshot of that before

That bug wasn't actually caused by the Ubersaw, it was the Kritzcrieg that did it.

No, I was messing with them earlier in the game and I didn;t ignite. And I wasn't always near them. And the deathcam. And the kill info in the corner said a flamethrower did it.
