WTF, my HL2 save folder is over 800MB ?

382 files what the hell ? i save with 1 save always the latest, perhaps i did some overkill saving at the start of the game, but still 382 files so far ? this is very strange, even if the autosave i dont understand how it can be that much

yea i will, since the game only shows like what the latest 50 or so ? very stupid system imo.

Mine's only 13Mb.
All the autosaves from each chapter, one manual save, two quicksaves.

Don't see how you could have gotten 191 saves. You must save a damn lot

That's insane, I've got 9 saves taking up 28mb after finishing the game

thats the problem i didnt save like a maniac, perhaps early in the game but still over 300 ? no chance.

"Just" 191. Half of the 382 files are TGA's, used for snapshots for your saves.

Perhaps it didn't let you overwrite your old quicksaves and created a new save for each quicksave?

And maybe this is linked to why you have terrible performance in HL2.
