Wtf Ups Blows!!

i ordered a computer and they said it will be arriving 3-5 days..

and today is the fifth day so i called them

and they said free shippings are usually 5-7 days and at the same time they sed it'll be delivered in 7days

why would they say 5-7 days when its 99% its 7days...

and this is the 2nd time they did this to me

anyopinions whose better? fedex or ups?

When I order off newegg before 12:30 PM i usually get my order the following morning.

omg dont even get me started with ups, i ordered a comp a few years ago. Well i guess when they delivered it when I wasnt home so they left it in the garage without a note saying so. So... for weeks im calling tigerdirect (ordered from there) and ups, they tell me some bs that they shipped it to the wrong location so i have to wait even longer. It was probably 1 month after it was supposed to be at my house and I go into my garage to get something and there it is, in the back of my garage......grrr i was soo mad

For computer packages I like fedex better since they usually deliver around lunch time up til around 3pm (about the time I go home for lunch). UPS usually delivers around 3-5PM around here. I've never had issues with shipping being delayed. Both have always given me a target date when tracking and deliver.

The only odd thing that I have come across is tracking said my package was in town at UPS or Fedex but they held it til my delivery date came up (2 days later).
