I keep getting this error that says something like, "This account doesn't currently own this game" or an error like, "Ticket session ID expired" or some crap... did someone just take over my CD-KEY? WTF?

A lot of users are experiencing the same problem. Try deleting your clientregistry.blob file in your Steam folder. If that doesn't work, you'll just have to wait it out.

Your cdkey CANNOT be taken once its registered to your account...
