WTH multiplayer wireframes?!?!?

Sup guys, anyone else having a problem with wireframes in their game? I have a completly new setup except for my vid card, here is my system.


ABIT NF8 mobo
AMD 64 3000+ socket 754
1GB DDR PC2700
ATI Radeon 9600XT 128
WDigital 160GB SATA 16MB cache

I have the 4.12 drivers because well, they work otherwise my system locks up with anything newer during game startup or within the first couple minutes of play. I also had wireframe problems there.

Any ideas would be great. I am sure its just a setting somewhere. I DO have all my in-game settings very low to see if that was causing it and still no go.

Holy hell, that's weird.

Go to http://steampowered.custhelp.com and go to the "Ask a question" section. In there you can actually attach some of those pics like it's an e-mail and Valve will reply back to you.

Meanwhile... Have you tried the 5.1 catalysts yet?

This fking sucks!!! Come on someone must know the answer to this.

Its not the wireframe, someone told me:

Start a game
sv_cheats 1
mat_wireframe 0

That did not do it.
