WWhich HL2DM map do you want most?

HLDM maps won't be sourced into HL2DM...

There will be original maps..

But answering your question anyway... I would like to see the Transit level.

and even if all the maps will be new, you can be sure that they will be made
 
Crossfire/Doublecross were awesome... Gotta love that airstrike :D

Rustmill was innovative, I'd like to see them try it again..

well its not a HLDM map.. but its a map i'd like to see in HL2DM.. its an Opposing Force map called Park.
i love that map.. and a source remake of it would totally own :cheese:

I loved Gasworks, Crossfire, bootcamp got old with HL fanboys that had 1337 tao scripts \= datacore and that...tram...map one. Oh hell, just all of em!

It was a complement and contributed to the atmosphere we want here.



I would love to see that one with the rockets and the nuking and all that. man its been a long time, I have no idea in hell what that map was called.
 
bootcamp by far, followed by crossfire (the one with the airstrike ^^)and snark_pit.
 
Gasworks, man that was a fun sniping level (and that's what I do best).

There was another level too, I don't think it was an official valve map, but it was probably fairly popular. It's a big enclosed level (big walls up the sides, roughly the size of the Bounce map) with a big empty bit in the middle and some bunkers and shells of buildings around the side with crossbows and rocket launchers in them, with a few underground tunnels that had shotguns/MP5. That level was 80% rocket launchers and crossbows, damn that was fun. Can't remember what it's called though, oh well.

I roughly remember that map too, what great fun that was. I also enjoyed that level where you were all seemingly tiny fighting inside someone's living room.

BEER FORTRESS! Ahaha, I loved that map. Check it out.
The map has 3 concentric square sections. The middle one is a pit, while the Centre one is a stage, very high. You start off in the middle section, which is like an empty pit, and very hard to get out of. However you do get detpacks. You climb up to reach the middle section which gives you rocket launchers. You then cross a bridge to reach the outer area which is more enclosed, so basically the people in the outer area can target the centre people with crossbows, while the the centre people targeted the people trapped in the mote who couldn't't jump up to reach the ladder.

All great maps. Oh, and I don't use tauscripts :p I'm just a tau/shotty/mp5/anygun wh0re.
 
crossfire, shooting stuff at people with the grav gun while they try to run into the bomb shelter.
 
Badger, that would totally defeat the purpose of having the manipulator in multiplayer (which they said is possible, and they said they used it in multiplayer to launch that guys corpse into outer space (welded two tanks onto the car or something)). Also, the barrels in CS:S are server-side physics objects. While not every small thing could be used (well, melons could, but they'd do no damage), some things could still be used to damage other people.

@ Retrofitter: No, I've never played that map before. And frankly, your description makes it sound lame - how fun is it being trapped in an area you can't get out of due to people sniping you constantly?

Oh.. and snipers tend to make the big mistake of aiming with the mouse :p

crossfire. used to play it at a LAN cafe 1 of the best maps :D

It's a spamfest.. hard to play creatively in it.

u can say that about most OP4/HL maps...it all depends on how the players play.
