X360: GRAW2 MP Demo is -out-

I won't have my 360 back till the end of the week as I swapped it for my friend's Wii for a few days but I thought others on here would like to know. :x

It basically took the worst parts of GR1 and GR2, and lumped all that into a foreign city and a throwaway Clancy plot.

Juat got off a few games of 4 v 4, sometimes 3 v 3. Very good fun. Nice level, which shows off some VERY nice visuals, esp. the shadows and the shadows of the trees, set around a few factory/industrial type workhouses in the jungle.

Good combat, although a little laggy, but that could of been the host or me. MASSIVE selection of weapons, including at least 8 different sniper rifles, a whole manner of support weapons, loads of SMG's and a nice range of assault rifles spanning from the British SA-80 (<3), the FAMAS and all those American carbines, etc etc. Had lots of fun just trying out the weapons, but I was scoring most with the SA-80 in single-shot.

I haven't played GRAW1 online, so I've no idea if any of this is any different (cept visuals), but it's well worth a download.

One round me and two others were losing, so we took position in a machinery hut and positioned the drone above us and just picked off the enemy as they came towards us. Didn't kill us once, probably because we took their drone out so they were running blind. Lots of communication and tactics - deffo going to get this, can see it being alot of fun with my clan mates.

It is pretty fun. It is pretty hard to see enemies due to the massive amount of foliage and shadows and well...everyone blends in pretty well.

Overall I played 3 or 4 games and it was pretty fun and I am sure it would be a lot more fun if I took the time to learn the game.

Pretty fun, but more or less more of the same. MP graphics are improved technically but still pretty bland overall. Shadows are kind of impressive at first but get annoying when you can't distinguish foes from the foliage. Water looks like glad wrap (cling film, plastic wrap, what-have-you). From the videos it looked like they'd atleast improved the controls, but they're still pretty sluggish...

Still, not bad, just not looking like a purchase when it still seems like GRAW 1.5 rather than a proper sequel. But then it is the Tom Clancy franchise we're talking about.

Yeah, when the Drone is turned off it's really hard to see enemies sometimes, save when they're the team officer and they've got a big floating skull above them.

Are you giving it time to search for games after you chose the filters? They just start to gradually appear on the screen once they're found, rather than how most other XBL games work.

no ive been using quick search.... meaning it should find ANY team game or ANY solo game depending on what i choose
i found some games last night but the admins were retarded so ive yet to play
