x800 vs. GF6800

doesn't look like this has been discussed here yet, and since i'm too lazy to go look up the benchmarks, can anyone tell me how these two cards line up? having seen the release "cerimony" vids for the 6800 that included the awe-inspiring first look at UR3, the mermaid vid with the perfectly rendered flowing hair, and applications of shader 3 technology; i'm just curious if the x800 is really beating that down? if so, are there any sites that show off what the x800 will be capable of?

theyre basically the same. shader 3 is utterly useless for a LONG time and by the itll be time to upgrade ur card anyway. the x800 shits all over the 9800, being 2.5 times faster than it. flowing hair isnt too amazing, shit a 9600 could easily render flowing hair. flowing hair isnt amazing whatsoever. id go with the x800 pro, or for another 100, x800 xt. it consumes less power, looks sexier, better drives according to TH, and less heat emitting then the 9800 and definately the 6800.
