x800 xt 256mb vs 6800 gt ultra

Hi,
Which should I get? I can get the x800 xt 256 for 280 new, but I know it doesn't have pixel shader 3.0 support. What would you guys recommend?

well the 6800u is like 400 right? so whatever you can afford

Either would do a good job but personally I would recommend the ATI card. That's a really good price on an X800XT anyway. I'd go for that. I never thought the 6800U was worth the money. The 6800GT did almost the same job for less (like the X800XL for ATI). The X800XT does really well when stressing the settings for graphics and resolution too.
