im gonna get a video card next week and i dont kno whitch one to get the x800pro or x800xl? can you guys tell me witch one is better thanx

Well from reviews I have seen, XL is the way to go for cost/benefit ratio. $300 for performance as good or better than a 6800GT.

xl for teh win in my opinion.

THe X800XL (300$) comes very close and beats the 6800GT depending on the game and the retail price is 100$ less. The X800pro is not as good because it's only a 12 pipeline card while the X800XL and 6800GT are 16 pipeline cards. Think highway lanes.

I am going to wait till Crossfire comes out before I make any upgrades. There hasn't been anything to cripple my X800 Pro yet, it still has life.

Anyway, go for the x800 XL. As Asus said, it comes very close to, and in a few games, actually beats the 6800gt (although majority benchmarks I see it just comes in right behind the 6800gt)

I was going to get an x800xl at one point, then I came into a bit of money and decided on the 6800gt.
