x850xt css low fps problem

i have already tryed 5.2 catalyst drivers, 5.4 catalys and the latest omega (5.2 catalyst)...nothing helps

so heres the problem. I run the game ...***n the stress test (look at the pic) and everything is alright. Than i create a server or join a game ....and the fps-s goes downhill !!!

i hope you had the same problem and you fix it so you can help me ... please help me...im going kinda crazy..im gona cry ;(

the settings are absolutely the same on both pics...i run one after another...

just so that we are on the same ...line... the fpss doesnt go downhill during a game...if it starts ok its gona be ok till the end..but if i join another server or go out of the server and run stress test than it ****es it up (sorry for the language..)

you validate it so that you go on steampowered and find the css validation...link

I had to completely reinstall Half Life 2 when I was simply missing one model. I was missing the showers in Nova Prospekt. It was highly annoying, I can assure you.

Wow, darn, only 50FPS.

I know you paid for that card for awesome performance, but a lot of people play on 20-30 and do fine. If you have your settings all the way up and you're getting 50FPS, it's fine; that's what I say. I play with a 9600XT and I get a solid 30-35FPS with all settings on high without AA.

Oh stop bitching about 50 fps. It won't look much different than 70 fps. After 50, it doesn't matter. Go cry about your "crappy" framerate. My average was 60. But there were some parts where it went lower.

If he wanted 50 fps..he would have bought a 9800pro.
As he didnt buy a 9800pro but a x850 he want it to perform as one.
So either support the guy with helpfull info or go play with your crappy 50 fps and stop nagging him.

I reccon:

uninstall vid.driver.
run in savemode and run drivercleaner.
Install latest driver.
Defrag HDD.
Run antispyware program.
reinstall the game.

if this all doesnt work...bring the card back to the shop because you should get 80/190 fps in-game..PERIOD.

I get those frames with an AMD64 3500+/ x800xl /1024mb dualchannel
