Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility Kit Announced.

The backwards compatibility of the Xbox 360 has been somewhat...foggy. This should clear it up. Out of the box, the "core" system will not be backwards compatible at all, unless you buy the hard drive peripheral, which allows a certain amount of backwards compatibility. The premium system, which comes with the hard drive, will be compatible with certain top-selling (as yet, unannounced) Xbox games. There will also be a kit that you can buy that will allow for full backwards compatibility with all Xbox games. The first shot of which can be found below.

Who cares about backwards compatablility anyways? I mean who wants to play Halo 2 when they have Halo 3? If you are that desperate then plug both consoles in its not like an extra 2 cubic feet of space for both an xbox and 360 will kill you.

By the way I dont play Halo and do they have flourescent UV reactive green tape avaliable?

I wonder how much this backwards compatibility kit is gonna cost.. I'm just gonna keep my Xbox for when I want to play the older games. It's not like it's a huge hassle changing a few wires around

Probably but most likly you will have to use a certain kind of tape(else it wont stick to the 360), and that tape cannot be bought seperate from the KIT.
