Xbox 360 broken (Not the red rings)

Basically, to sum it up quick (because I've written this out so many times) I got Medal of Honor: Airborne, blue shit started coming up on the screen, restarted the Xbox a few times with the same glitch coming up each time until finally I lost picture and video completely.

I'm gonna call tech support tomorrow and will probably end up sending it in.

Usually most people have very good tech with MS. Maybe you're telling them the 360 sucks or something and don't want to deal with you

Bad luck man, hopefully you can get it fixed. I'm not a fan of the console, but sucks when you buy something that should work, and it drops face first.

I've had a launch console red-light on me, but the one i replaced it with has been OK so far. At least repairs are free, and the new premiums/elites should have the revised cpu/cooler to get rid of the problem permanently.

Bad times...

If you have a 12 month retail warranty take it back to the place of purchase and get a new one. Do not fall for the we must repair your console lark.

If you need to go through MS tell them Baserape> expects. Remember MS will only fix the 3 RROD free of charge and you will wait about 3 weeks to get a refurb or a new console.

Just called em up and got a repair set up, it was still under warranty thankfully, so no repair costs for me, now I've just got to wait about 5 weeks for it to get sent out and come back

Man, start up MoH, start playing, put some towels around the 360 and force that sucker to RROD so you can get it done for free!

It's just a 1 year warranty, but then after that Microcenter (the place I got it from) will replace it for free for another year if it breaks again after the warranty from Microsoft is up

I can understand not liking Microsoft, but a graphics card company? The only time I've ever "hated" a GPU developer is when I was 13 and bought an ATI card - and being thirteen and stupid, this automatically meant I hated Nvidia for no reason.

The old ATi cards were awful, specially on the driver front. Having a RAGE card in like 1999 was like wiping your arse with hedgehogs. To hate ATi back then was OK! Voodoo's were the shiznit back then, though. Funny how things change.
