My Xbox 360 is in my basement, but i dont have internet down there. I have a computer that has wireless internt in it AND an Ethernet Interent card. Could I hook up my 360 via the ethernet card and get the internet on there from the wireless.

If I can I'm willing to try anything.

Thanks

yes you can bridge the connection from your 360 to the pc Ethernet port by network cable. anothor alternative is to buy an adapter for the 360 to connect to wireless internet.

Could you explain how to do that?

Ive never heard of that before.

1)go to your network connections window

2)right click on your wireless connection and then press 'Bridge Connection'

Okay, so I did that. But, now my Internet doesnt work lol.

I Bridged the connection and then my wireless intrent stopped responding.

It said the wired ethrenet had been detected, but then my internet on the wirless said it couldnt connect...

Any ideas?

Are you setup for your PC to get an IP automatically (DHCP on) or is it entered in manually? And you told it to bridge from Ethernet to Wireless?
How-To

If you want to reset the IPs, have both the PC and Xbox on and go to network properties (on the PC) for the LAN and Bridge connections. Find a 'Repair' button and release the IP and then renew for both. If you use DHCP it should find an ip to use automatically. Not sure why it isn't connecting.
