Xbox 360 problem

Anyone else having problems since the latest patch? All I get is black screen. First it ran fine, then suddenly when playing Mass Effect the whole screen went black, A little while after that I started seeing these green artifacts. And after a couple of restarts later my whole lcd monitor dies. I mean I get these black and white phychedelic patterns and couldn't switch back to the pc input. Booting the monitor sorted that one out but I still can't get my 360 to work all I get is a black screen.

Funny that it just suddenly fried. I mean my friend was playing with it yesterday and it ran fine. Then today I ran Mass Effect for a few seconds and then remembered that there was an update to the firmware and decided to update and boom fried xbox.

How lucky am I!? I just today got Mass Effect. Now when I send the xbox to the repairs I have to go to the army just in the middle... That means about 6 months with no xbox. TY
