whats up with this system. i read somewhere its getting a cpu upgrade or something to make it run cooler. is that true? i just got one and games are freezing and have low framerates. like what the hell is everyone expected to suspend there power supply bars in order to play? thats retarded. are there any systems out there that actually run cool how its supposed to be?

also if you pick up the system, r u supposed to hear a tiny little rattling noise inside, as if a tiny little bolt is loose in there or something?

You need to go from horizonal to vertical while playing a game. That'll fix the problem.

NOTE: Do the above and take pics and you get an e-cookie.

:/

You get the e-twat of the day award.

Darkknighttt, i've run my my 360 in a vertical position since day one with no problems. Don't change the position while running a game, it'll probably get scratched.

As for the new cores, they may run a little cooler, but games won't run any better. We're still playing first generation titles at the moment, frame rates will improve as developers become more familiar with the system. Also, make sure your 360 has some space to breath as they do tend to get a little warm.

I would suggest perhaps trying to string it up a bit if you're worried about it overheating. It's not that hard to do either way. Either that though or perhaps get some copper, put it in a freezer, and place it up against the side of the 360 with the mobo on. That may serve to cool it down some.

Play there! :D

On a more serious note, listen to Warbie (not Qonfused! D:) and don't move it unless you like discs that are scratched.

Yep. Don't... move... the friggin'... 360... while... it's... playing. Or kiss your expensive videogame goodbye.
