I got a Toshiba 42Z3030DB and connected my 360 via VGA cable for HD.

In the Xbox's Screen settings I set the display to 1280*720 (720p) but the screen had a strong green tint and the text became fuzzy. I then set the resolution to 1360x768 (WXGA) and its fine.

My question is why cant I set it to 720p? Im sure the VGA cable supports it, or could it be my TV?

anyone?... Ive been sarching then net and it appears it depends on what TV you have. Some can do 1080p/720p over VGA and some cant :-(

I see an option for 1080p so Im guessing I cant

1360x768 is the native for the tv. thats more pixels then 720p is you dont realize that.

ah ok so 720p is not native for the TV..hmm no probs as long as its better than SD :) I cant see 1080p in the list either, im guessing I cant get that via VGA on this TV, I might try Componant but I've heard its worse than VGA
