Xbox live work goddamn you!

It wont, iv got a crossover going from my netowrk card to a switcher, then a crossover from my switcher to my 'box. Im using the Local Area Connection which is enabled and shared and doing it through 512k AOL. Any help? Anyone?

Did you say crossover? Use a standard Cat5 or 6 Patch cable and not a yellow crossover. The wires are crossed on a crossover cable as it is ment for PC-to-PC use and not PC(Xbox)-to-Network use.

is the box your modem or your xbox? if its your modem, the two crossover should cancel each other out
