Hehe...I've actually got a hardware problem thats not even computer related.
I picked up an Xbox a few months back, and just recently grabbed my first game with the custom soundtrack feature, but am having problems loading music onto it.
So far my success rate is:
Works -Normal Audio CDs
Doesn't Work -Ridata CD-Rs
-Sony CD-Rs (music specific)
-Memorex CD-RWs
I've figured that I don't have an Xbox with one of the great Samsung drives (few do), and therefore the CD-Rs probably won't work no matter what. However, from everything I've found on the net the CD-RWs should, especially since I'm burning them as slow as possible.
Anyone have any experience with this problem?

You probably have the Thompson drive like me, most of them do, and they're the worst ones. CD-RW's work for me, I haven't used memorex ones though. CD-R's can work, it takes a LOT of tries but I've done it before. Search google, I think there's a guide somewhere that tells which brands of CD-R/RW's work well on the Xbox. The RW's I got to work were Sony's. And I think the more scratches the disc has on it the more trouble the Xbox will have reading it.

At this point I've got more CDs than I know what to do with. If I get a chance I'll try the Sony ones too.
