I now officially love Xbox Live...

During E3 first of all is going to be another "Free Xbox Live Gold Weekend" so you get all of that.

They also be be giving these demo's out via Xbox Live, the same week that E3 is going on!!! This means that you are going to be playing exactly what the E3 people will be playing, except without the smell of sweaty guys...

Those are the ones that will get demos/trailers that have been announced.

Call of Duty 2 will also get new multiplayer maps(2 for free, 2 for 400 points and then in July 5 more maps for 900 points), and Uno will be released for the Arcade as well....

That kicks so much ass that even Microsoft haters have to admit; that is a hot idea, as nothing like this has ever been done AFAIK.

Playing the games that are at E3 in your own home, the same week that E3 is going on, as much as you want? GTFO! No waiting in lines, and you can actually hear it.

Potentially very cool, but not that big a deal if you have a PC with an internet connection, as all of these trailer will be available readily anyway. The high-def ones from last year were even available from Microsoft's site! The only playable demo will be Lost Planet, which I am not super-excited for anyway.

Not true. That is the only game that is a definitely playable, true, but the other games being playable demos just aren't confirmed either way yet - at least that is what Joystiq writes.

[update 1: In our excitement, we misread the statement. The aforementioned titles may or may not be playable demos; the only one confirmed to be released as a demo is Lost Planet. Sorry for the confusion.]

You never know. I'd say Sonic is more likely. (I remember playing Sonic Demos on my Dreamcast thats all )




Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - here are some images. I remember seeing the trailer for this and it looks totally sweet. If I had a 360, I'd be pretty excited about being able to play the E3 demo of it. Come now; its made by Resident Evil & Street Fighter famed Capcom - in my opinion, the greatest publisher of all time. They have a very long list of incredible games over the years, where other companies might have one.

Yea I wanted to say developer, but everytime I do... someone on the forum is quick to tell me "they are just a publisher!" and to be honest, I don't know exactly what they make and what they publish, but everything they put out is really good.

Onimusha, Street Fighter, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Mega Man, etc.

I hope this Lost Planet is really tight. Every time I see huge mechs in a game I assume it's going to suck, but I saw a trailer for Lost Planet before the 360 was released, and it was the ultimate in high quality, I'll say that much.

You are right, that mech game is the exception, and everyone who played it said it was exceptional. I wasn't aware that it was a Capcom game.

I don't normally like these mech games or anime with mechs at all.

That new SEGA mech game for xbox360 looks cool too though - what is it called? Steel Dogs or Iron Cats or something... :dork:

Just to back what I said earlier, here is a list of almost every Capcom game. Quite a list. I beg anyone to find one game on here that wasn't at least pretty good. Instead of a link, I posted it here for the effect.

You have to love Capcom They're easily one of the best developers ever, and the only one that comes close to matching the big N.

lol Warbie, best developers ever is also a relative question and depends on ones taste, I do not for example, view the big N(intendo) as the best developer ever.
Capcom is probably the best developer inside Japan as of right now imo, but in the whole world, no.
You can divide best developers up into alot of different groups also..
I mean, Capcom suck for PC games, all of their "PC ports" have been shiet lately imo. But for consoles they're great.
I'm extremely looking forward to RE5 and Dead Rising(Zombies FTW!)..
They also have very nice reps, I was in contact with one a few months ago about a possible sequel to Steel Battalion for the XB360 but they said it was highly unlikely, apparently, whilst SB sold out very quickly, they didn't really make enough income off it to make the development costs etc worth it

Also, the 360 mech game you're thinking off VirusType2 is called Chromehounds
But yeah, generally mech games on consoles have sucked, I so want the original devs of MechWarrior 2 Mercenaries to do MechWarrior 5 for the PC.. Ah memories..

Sure - but on output alone (both Software and Hardware) you must admit Nintendo are tough to match. I agree, though, it's all down to personal taste.

Out of interest, who would you rate higher than Capcom at the moment? They were my favourite developer of this generation.

It's really hard for me, I really rarely have favourites because I suck at choosing favourite things etc because all have their pros and cons if you get what I mean..
I mean, one of my fav devs is A-Sharp, they've only ever done one game, King of Dragon Pass.

But it's one great game..
But in terms of commercial developers, Capcom and Konami for the top Japanese ones, and for non-Japanese, Bethesda Softworks(I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fan) and Ubisoft are both great devs imo, their games are still good imo, the SC series, Prince of Persia, GRAW(360).
