Xbox360 laptop

Pretty cool, first case mod I've seen for the 360. However ... knowing how the 360 likes to rape discs if it gets moved ... doesn't seem very logical to make a laptop out of it.
 
I don't think it's a good idea to move any dvd player while a disc is running in it. Try tipping your pc or ps2 on its side next time you play a game and see what happens :)

Funny you mention it, I have a launch PS2 where the laser doesn't work well. As part of a routine I have to do to get CD based games (DVDs work fine) to work I have to put it in while the console is standing up, then hold it horizontally to get it to load up, then re-position the console upright. Doing this has never caused any damage to the disc.

But regardless, my point isn't to knock the 360, I'm sure it shouldn't be a problem to just lie it down. My point is that since the 360 does eat discs fairly easily when moved ... making it into a laptop doesn't seem like a practical idea (although it is very cool).

Or is it like the original X-BOX where they use drives manufactured by different companies, and only one set of drives have problems?
