XP PC to Laptop XP network not working???

i too had a problem like this....

my gf had a dell and I have a custom build. anyway...turns out i'd never installed the drivers for the networking part of my mobo since I use a wifi pci card....that was all....still haven't figured out why we can' share our printer though.....
