So I have a character model with some rough weighting. It's made from a rig derrived from the valve guide. I didnt make any modifications to the rig.
The problem is when I export an SMD, it only seems to export a portion of the skeleton, and with that only a portion of the model (specifically only the helmet of the player, no body).
When I look at the bones on the player model in HLMV, it only shows the spine-head bones and the clavicles. What am I doing wrong here?
I've tried
-All the options ni the SMD export (leave unused bones, delete/dont delete top level bone)
-moving stuff around, re-enveloping, redoing various things.
Anyone have any insight on what could be causing a problem ?
