Any fans around here? I think he's exceptionally gifted. If you don't know him, he's a multi-instrumentalist (piano, accordion and violins) best known for the Amelie Poulain's soundtracks.

My favorite songs would be:

Summer 78
Comptine d'un autre été
Valse d'Amélie (piano version)
L'Absente
La Parade
Childhood

I play some of them on the piano. Tiersen is the shit. The scores he did for Amelie fit in so well with the movie. One of my favorites would be La Valse des monstres (is that French for the valse of the monsters?)

I recently learned Comptine d'un autre été on the piano and now I'm trying to play La Valse D'Amélie.

La Valse des Monstres means The waltz of the monsters.

La Valse d'Amelie was the most difficult one for me, although most are relatively easy. Comptine is amazing.

Yep, they're nice to play on the piano. I play the Amelie pieces in my dorms sometimes... people tend to like them. Besides the ones y'all mentioned, La Dispute is also good, especially at the end.
