If it happens again, just click "ignore" and it should go away (and hopefully never happen again)

it kept happeneing, apparently they switched the "SteamCache" folder to "SteamApps" so anyone else having this problem just try renaming the folder, i copied all my hl2 movies, then uninstalled and reinstalled steam only to seethat the renamed a folder (which is where the "hl2 movies" folder was located.)

I would go to www.steampowered.com/forums and scan through their to see if anyone else has same said problem. If not, make a new thread!

Simple

:D

i got the same error except i clicked on this button in xp called fix... now my movies are screwed :D... the movie app won't load at all... :D... -_-

do what i did, copy the movies somewhere, uninstall steam, reinstall it, then run steam and close it when it starts updating the movies, then place the movies you copied back into the hl2 movies folder, and run steam again

STEAM = F>U>B>A>R>E>D

STEAM :: VALVE

VALVE = ??

:dozey:

I think the word is AVAIL.

Sorry, me just being pedantic. :flame:
