Yay Beta Music

This actually happened by accident, skipping the details, pop in your favorite music cd, ie rage, korn, whatever, then open up hl2 and play a level. There are files which define which track plays for which level. Maybe not original, but cool huh?

half-life 1 maps have the same feature, in the map properties you tell it what cd track you want it to play....

I know this is off topic, and involves the 'beta':

I noticed a idiot on the Savage game forum claiming he was beta-testing HL 2 , for a sec I wondered if Valve hadn't had a closed beta test going then I realised the idiot was probaby refereing to the illegal 'beta'.

Still....I must wonder if this wasn't a slip by a beta tester, currently on the real HL 2 beta....naah...err
