I just got my braces off today!

It wasn't all that bad, and I didn't have any "white spots" where the braces were, even through I didn't brush much. Heh. Lucky, I guess. But anyways, I'm just really excited so I made a post, wee.

The only thing that sucks is this retainer.

Why the hell did they name it a "lisp" when people with a "lissssssssp" can say it right? Damn, people are stupid.

I don't think whoever made that up was stupid. Just very, very cruel.
Have you got a retainer now? If you do, wear it! I hardly wore mine, undid all the work, the year of braces, 4 teeth taken out, all for nothing. :|

Haven't been to my dentist since. As I'm not legally an adult, he'd probably try and force me into having them again. And I just cannot be bothered with it.

I wish I coulda had braces.. But now I just have one of my BIG TEETH up front ..the other oen was lost, so the other scooted to the middle, and grew...now I look ****ing funny. Parents were too poor for fake tooth/braces. Now I'm ****ed4lyfe

Congratulations! I remember what it was like wearing braces...not so much with the fun. Anyway, good for you. :thumbs:
Just remember, never fold a napkin around your retainer...It's also not fun rooting through the trash trying to find it again.

Well, I have the bottom one now (always wearing it, I'm not going to flop on a thing I have to do for a year to un-do something painful for 3 years), and I'm going back in 2 weeks to get my top one. Bleh.
