Yes man

I thought it looked terrible. But I might see it any way. <3 Zooey Deschanel.

My friend saw it, said it was funny. He said JC finally redeemed himself.

it's a fun movie if you're in need of something to do with your friends

Was that intentionally referencing Dumb and Dumber? Also, Jim Carrey never needed to redeem himself. All of his recent movies have been "alright" at worst and fan-****ing-tastic at best.

I don't know what stash of secret unreleased Jim Carrey Movies you've been watching, but...

He's probably in opposite land watching Cable Guy over and over again.

Really enjoyed this film actually.

I'd also consider it pretty life-changing actually. I decided to follow a similar covenant on New Year's Eve and despite running low on funds already, I'm really enjoying this new year by saying Yes to nearly everything.

Had a similar thing to Carl in this film last night too. Went clubbing till about 4am on the power of energy drinks and coke alone.

this
Jim Carrey has never really done anything bad in recent years. Bruce almighty kicked ass. I never saw the number 23. How was it?
Honest opinion please, don't just quote metacritic etc

Number 23 was okay. Nothing special. Dick and Jane had some lol moments.

Eternal Sunshine was amazing though.

Yeah... Saw it at the cinema. Maybe i'll give it another go.

I can understand it being a bit boring, it's definitely a mood and character and thought driven movie. I'd suppose you have to be in the mindset to want that kind of thing. It's fantastic as hell if you can get into it though.

I guess.
I was 15 when it came out, and with a bunch of dead beat friends whom with I did stupid shit. So Sunshine wasn't really a movie we whould stick around with. I heard good things about it here though.

Ah yeah that would do it. I'd definitely give it another chance.

Well Dumb and Dumber and the Ace Ventura films are some of the funniest films I have ever seen, I also found him hilarious Liar Liar and even The Grinch. Really enjoyed Bruce Almighty and The Number 23, I thought The Truman Show was fantastic.

Nope, not many times he has disappointed me.

This, basically. I never saw the Grinch though, and I dont want to.

hes a really good actor is jim carey. i prefer his more serious roles these days though, i've outgrown the stupid goofy comedy he does

Jim Carrey has always been alright aside from Number 23 which was abysmal. I rather like Yes Man actually.

Anyone who has any doubt about Carrey's prowess as an actor has to watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It's my joint favourite movie, and the only movie to ever make me cry. It's a great injustice he didn't get an Oscar for it.

yes man is one of those movies where if you go to the theater and have nothing in mind you should see. its really just liar liar+bruce almighty. i never bought into the notion that jim carrey makes the same movie every three years, but i'm starting to see it too.

and yea, zooey makes the $10.

Looks like Liar Liar 2 to me. I have not found him particularly funny in his past few movies. He needs to do another movie with the Farrelly Bros.

He may redeem himself with the upcoming "I Love You Phillip Morris". We'll see.
