Yet ANOTHER Borderland DLC...

There's also two new vehicle types, some vehicle-specific sections, and a bunch of new enemies.

Looks very nice actually. Though I just recently uninstalled mine. Can't be bothered to get back into BL.

My main problem with the game was...it burned out after everyone started hacking their weapons. At that point it got kinda pointless...even though I didn't hack mine.

No hacked weapons on the 360 version (these days anyway.)

I play with my housemates, so the only thing I have to worry about is ninja's. >_> lol

Any ideas on the release date for this?

IGN said:
The Secret Armory of General Knoxx is being readied for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms, but no word yet on exactly when.

Judging from screens and vids, I'd say fairly soon.

Never really got into BL but from what I can discern it was a temporary hype thing that lived up to it for a short while. Who thinks the purchase was worth it?

I think it was worth it. Played through it with my housemates so it was great fun! Even passed out on my desk once when I tried to play it with them but I was too drunk xD

I found it fun when playing by myself too, but its so much better coop.

Me.

This game is exactly like L4D/2 in that playing with friends is where it's at. Singleplayer is mediocre, at best.

Also me. Played through it co-operatively 4 times now, including both current DLCs. On your own, it's pretty much trash. Add a friend or two, and it's glorious. Don't play with people you don't trust, though. They'll be swiping your loot!

Doing co-op in Borderlands is decent, but not necessarily enthralling. I wasn't motivated enough to keep the game and wait for the DLCs. All in all, I didn't find it that interesting.

Co-op or no it still felt like a grindfest to me. Same reason I can't stand Diablo 2 past Act 3.

Definitely.

Singleplayer = 7/10 game, multiplayer with FRIENDS(non-public server with random people) = 9/10 game for me.

Given that the first mission is at level 51 difficulty, I'm going round and doing some indiscriminate killing to get up to 51 before embarking on the new missions.

I purchased DA:O instead of Borderlands, based on the reviews.

I'm going to say I've been quite disappointed with the consistency of reviewers lately. DA:O and Mass Effect 2 were incredibly hyped games that had great reviews, but all the problems behind it were ignored. Considering that BL did receive some reviews around the ranges of 7/10 or 70%, I went with DA:O instead.

Though now I can see the difference between BL and DA:O. DA:O is one messed up DLC fess, absolutely ridiculous. BL has packaged a few DLCs, but nowhere near as many as DA:O. Every single little item in the game is DLCed, there is no point in searching for items anymore if you can get a better items right off the bat with DLC.

Edit: :O = : O. I meant to write DA: O not DA:O
