how would i go about having my guy run up to the "base" in my map and shout somethin like "combine,incoming,take cover" i know these things are said ingame somewhere so its possible, its just that me and scripting dont get along :flame: , and i wanna be buddies

scripted sequences and scripted sentences. You may have to sit thru alot of sentences to hear what you want, unless somebody has compiled a list somewhere.

Two words: Face Poser

Play around with it. It lets you make really good sequences. And you can pick the specific sound file you want them to shout or say and such.

Should be what you are looking for. Haven't seen any tutorials for it. But my mate taught it to himself, and then showed me how to do it. It's pretty easy after a bit of fidgeting and messing about with settings and such .
